Website Design By Web Standards?
« on: May 06, 2010, 05:12:56 AM »

Hello,

My name is Kristalin and I'm a Host Color VPS Hosting customer. I should say that I like HC and recommend the company's services to anyone. But the topic of this thread is a little bit different.

I use MODx CMS to build websites. As you probably know this is a content management framework based on strong standards. My question is do you understand and follow the W3C standards?

PS: I understand that this thread addresses web developers and designers, because it will be hard for consumers to join such discussion.

It is important to have global web standards that developers, designers and anyone involved in website creation would follow. The W3C standards help professionals from different countries to better collaborate. It is the same with most popular CMS - Joomla, Drupal, Typo 3, MODx, etc. We can create better websites now than we would 10 years ago.
