I used to run my own photography business, long story short, I closed the business. Anyway, I used to use a paid hosting company for my website. Since it is now personal, I can't afford to pay for hosting services, but I do intend on keeping my domain. I also have a blog. I would like to find a free no-ad hosting service that allows you to use your own domain (not a subdomain xxxx.hostingcompany.com). Of course, I understand that with a free hosting company, you get what you pay for, but it would still be nice to find a good company.

Hello Jackson,

So sorry to hear that you were forced to close your photography business. Anyways, 000webhost.com seems to offer nice features for free web hosting company - PHP, MySQL, FTP, 5 addon domain, you name it. Basically they seem to offer the essential "tools" that you may need for a website, however since you mentioned that this is website containing photos, I'm not sure what they speed is like since I've never tested them. There are many other such companies which offer such free service, but like you said this can't be compared with the paid service at all.

The website you have advertised as signature, and which I removed, is not on a a free hosting account. Kindly ask you not to try spam/promote any kind of fake "top hosting" lists in Host Color Forums.
