Hi guys,

I wouldn't ask you about you favorite domain extension. This question is quite boring. I've seen that it was asked many times in different forums. That's why I'm asking you to share something else here. Which are your favorite web addresses / domain extensions?

I'll be the first to answer my own question

10 year ago I really liked .CO.UK. Then I decided that .IT is very cool and I still think that my-company-name.it looks great for any technology business.

.CA is another extension I like. The same with .EU and .ASIA.

However I like .COM most and I'm happy when I find a nice web address available under dot-com tld. The last .com I got was HostingBookmarks (PM me if you need to bookmark web hosting related content there).

I also prefer the .com's.  The main reason for that is just the fact that they are the most common.

On the other side of things, it seems that because good .com domains are harder to get, the less widely used domains seem to be more and more common.  The ones that I really like stick in your mind, and they are easy to associate with the websites purpose.  Like www.wastedworkday.com - funny, and yet when you visit the site, you can easily see why the domain is such a good one.

All in all, I think that personal preference should not be the only thing that is used to decide what domain you purchase.

I like the .com too.  Never been a fan of .net for some reason.  I have a few .info domains even though most people trash the extension. I think they're useful if you're building something like an informational site, but I agree the .info extension has been abused quite a bit.

Haven't really toyed with any other extensions.

I have just bought a very nice .TV domain which contains a very important phrase related to web hosting However it will be expensive to manage the website because I'm planning a video blog.

Even i also like.com,because its very common and it is easily get indexed by search engines.
