Check also linkworth and textlinks.com. However, be advised that we didn't try those, so this is not a recommendation.

Welcome to the forums. I haven't checked whether you are a customer of Host Color or not, but this thread seems to be created only to have a link, that I removed, featured in the forum.

The "alt tag "advise is good and I would suggest our customers and forum readers to follow it. The suggestions concerning the shopping cart implementation you made are also fine and this was a good reason to leave your thread open and not to delete it. Kindly ask you open discussions in the future, instead of posting threads that aim just to server as a link building tool for you.

Search engine traffic is one of the most important factors that decide the success of an online shopping cart.  Hence the shopping cart design that you choose must be SEO friendly.  This will help in producing the best results, inviting the targeted customers to visit your website and use the shopping cart.
A SEO friendly shopping cart doesn’t mean the features visible to you and your customers. It also means the features that the spiders and crawlers of the search engines look for.
Here are a few tips to develop an SEO friendly shopping cart.

•   Most of the web pages and shopping cart pages have meta titles, descriptions and keyword tags.  But certain web developers advice to include tags like anchor title tags, for texts and images.

Use of alt tags also increases the search engine traffic.  Most of the search engine spiders, bots and crawlers look for alt tags.

A shopping cart design made without the optimization of these tags won’t produce the needed results.
•    Your shopping cart should be compatible in text based browser too.  You should also view the cart after disabling the Java script.

Taking all these factors in to account will increase the performance of your shopping cart whereas ruling out these factors will decrease about 10-15% of your total potential revenue.

•   People with disabilities may use sound browsers. The cart that you create should be compatible to such browsers.
•   Avoid error pages like "Page Not Found", "Fatal Error on....” etc, which are usually shown when your online store is down. It can also be seen when an unexpected result comes out of a database query.

Most of the users won’t be prepared for such messages. Hence these messages will give them an unprofessional feeling.

•   Most of the shopping cart users are worried about the authenticity of the websites. Adding the necessary logos, like PayPal logo, gives a feeling of security to the users.

We can not change the affiliate program like this. Such a change should corrupt it. When our partner uses affiliate URL it helps them not just to make sales and to earn commissions, but also to analyze the behavior of their website visitors.

Hello,

The Internet fraud has in increased a lot within the last year. This results in an large number of fraudulent orders submitted to online merchants. Host Color has a long experience in fighting online fraud. We have opened this thread to help our own customers to better deal with the fraud and to demonstrate to anyone that Host Color has been always safe.

We see 2 different trends:
  • The fraudulent attempts made from U.S. IP addresses is increasing
  • There are number of risky countries that keep their fraud score very high. Some of them are in Europe, some in Africa and Asia

We shall not publish the names of the high-risk countries because we do not want to hurt anyone's dignity (there are jerks everywhere). However we have already tightened up the process of online ordering. Please see what we do to prevent fraud. You might consider to implement similar policy in your online store:

1. New anti-fraud tools have been installed in Host Color. We double check all orders through 2 different automated anti-fraud gateways and after taht do manual review. Our advise to you is to ask your merchant provider about their anti-fraud tools (Authorise.net for example has a tool that costs only $9.95/moonth) and to try MaxMind solutions.

2. We have added fraud-call to the order process. It prevents fraudulent orders to go through. Anyone who has submitted an order is required to pass a phone verification procedure. It might be done through a phone call or text message... (Review the anti-fraud solutions of Telesign and Maxmind).

3. If you target a national market only you shall probably consider to activate options such as:
  • To ban orders submitted without a billing address
  • To ban orders made from foreign IP addresses
  • To ban orders if the IP address mismatch the billing address
  • To ban orders made from anonymous proxies
  • Filter or prevent users that come from IP networks identified as high-risk ones to submit orders on your website
  • Ban email addresses and or consider not to process orders from free email addresses

Those are only very few of the anti-fraud measures you would consider to implement. We have already made some of them part of our fraud-prevention policy.

You can join this discussion if you need help on fighting fraud.

I am sorry as this is not posted in correct section but there wasn't any other related section to post such message. I have an idea which you might want to implement.

* Partnership with script developers
There are many script being sold online that requires different server functions. You can do partnership with those script developers and provide discount to those kind of script hosting.

Search such script developers online and provide server function needed to run the script. In this way, you and both script developers can get some good amounts of genuine buyers and good reputation too.

It's good idea to pay in CPC basis instead of monthly fixed payment. I would like to get paid too for your links.

But should the links should be dofollow and only text link? I want to use image instead of text links for better CTR

Hello administrators,

I want to resell your shared hosting to my local market with my affiliation but I have a small problem.

Normally, affiliators affiliates the product through website tracking affiliate ID. But I want to affiliate in my local market and I am not going to land my customers through my website. I will register them through my own IP using my affiliate ID.

Will there be any chance to get my account disabled if I affiliate users in this way because you will get only one IP while converting users into customers.

If there is any problem then I would like to know. But I don't think it will give any trouble since you will get paid for your server usage.

And I posted this here because many others might have same confusion,.

Waiting for your reply ASAP

Thanks

I have nothing against with you. I know that unlimited is just a catch but I am glad that you said that there is nothing like unlimited. Every server has it's limit and you give how much you can.

P.S I would like to say everyone that don't misuse the limit of hosting servers even you are given unlimited

Welcome to the forums. There is a URL submission page - google.com/addurl/ - but you don't need to use it. The Google's algorithm will crawl your website anyway. What is your web address. I'' have a look at it and will tell you what would help you to get better ranking.
